Frequently Asked Questions
Is my PDF uploaded to your servers?
No. Your file never leaves your device. Thumbnail rendering uses pdfjs-dist running in your browser, and the reordered PDF is assembled by pdf-lib — also entirely client-side. Nothing is sent to or stored on our servers.
Is this free to use?
Yes, completely free. No account required, no watermarks, and no hidden charges.
Will text still be selectable after reordering?
Yes. Unlike tools that re-render pages as images, this tool uses pdf-lib to copy the original page content streams directly. All text, fonts, hyperlinks, and vector content are preserved exactly as in the original document.
Can I undo a reorder without starting over?
Yes. Click "Reset order" at any time to restore all pages to their original sequence. You can then rearrange again from scratch without re-uploading the file.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 100 MB. Generating thumbnails for very large PDFs may take a moment depending on your device's performance.
Which browsers are supported?
This tool works in all modern browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. No plugins or extra software needed.
